Your Next Candidate May Already Be in Your Old Resume Folders.
Recruitment teams collect hundreds or thousands of resumes over time. But when a new client requirement arrives, finding a suitable candidate from those old folders, inboxes, and exports can be difficult.
Empikalyze is developing Resume Library to help recruitment consultancies organize their historical resumes and discover relevant candidates against future job requirements.
Resume Library is not yet available for general use. Join the early-access list to express interest in trying it when access opens.
The problem
Your Existing Candidate Pool Shouldn't Go to Waste
Most recruitment teams already sit on a large amount of candidate information. The challenge is finding it again when it matters.
- Historical resumes become scattered across folders, inboxes, drives, and exports.
- Recruiters may repeat searches for candidates they have already found.
- Previously collected candidate information becomes difficult to reuse.
- A searchable historical candidate library could help recruiters rediscover suitable candidates when new requirements arrive.
How it is planned to work
Four Steps from Old Resumes to Relevant Candidates
Resume Library is being designed to connect your historical resumes to the screening workflow you already use.
1. Upload historical resumes
Recruiters will be able to add historical resume files to their organization's library without first creating a screening job. Planned initial formats: PDF, DOC, and DOCX.
2. Prepare resumes for search
Empikalyze will extract usable resume text and prepare indexed resumes for retrieval. A file must finish processing before it can be searched. Scanned/image-only resumes are not planned for the initial release.
3. Search against a new job requirement
Recruiters will be able to submit a job description and discover relevance-ranked candidates from their own historical library using semantic search results.
4. Select candidates for AI screening
Recruiters will be able to choose candidates from the search results and send them to the existing AI screening workflow for full evaluation.
All capabilities on this page describe the planned product. They are not yet available in Empikalyze accounts.

Trust
Privacy and Responsible Use
Resume Library is being designed with the same organization-scoped approach as the existing screening product.
The planned library is designed to be organization-scoped: resumes your organization stores in its library are planned to be private to your organization, with file access restricted to authorized members of your team.
Your organization is responsible for having appropriate permission to upload and process candidate information before adding resumes to the library.
For how Empikalyze handles candidate data in the existing production screening workflow — encryption, PII sanitization before AI processing, and deletion requests — see the Data Security page and the Privacy Policy. Final data-handling details for Resume Library will be published before launch.
Transparency
Known Limitations
What we can honestly say today about the planned Resume Library.
Resume Library is still in development and not yet available.
Scanned/image-only resumes are not planned for the initial release.
Different versions of the same candidate's resume will not necessarily be merged automatically.
Resume Library is not a complete ATS and does not replace recruitment pipelines, scheduling, or offer management.
Search relevance is not the same as the AI screening score — screening remains a separate, paid evaluation step.
